Dynamic Shear Rehometer DSR

Standard: JTGE20-2011 T0628, ASTM P246, AASHTO T315-09

Description

The Dynamic Shear Rheometer DSR is mainly used to measure the rheological properties (complex shear modulus, phase angle, etc.) of asphalt binders under high temperature. The SHRP Dynamic Shear Rheometer (DSR) is used to measure viscoelasticity of aged or unaged and modified or unmodified asphalt in the temperature range of 5-90 degrees. According to AASHTO MP1 method, the asphalt sample is placed between 25 mm/8mm circular plate clamps under specified temperature, and the complex shear modulus and phase angle of specimen is measured by applying a known torque.

The RT-DSR 150 Series Rheometer provides dry asphalt temperature control accessories. It consists of a pair of 8mm parallel plates, a pair of 25mm parallel plates, and a sample casting mold. The dry heating system adopts Peltier heating method, which is more precise in temperature control and can be tested continuously. Heating in a circulating water bath will make it difficult to cool the second test. However, we can use a circulating water bath for cooling or liquid nitrogen cooling.
