Helmet Impact Absorption Performance tester ASTM /Snell/ANSI

Model: PT-HIT-M01

This tester is a specialized equipment used to test the collision energy absorption performance of various helmets such as motorcycle helmets, sports helmets, electric vehicle helmets, fire helmets, rescue helmets, military and police helmets, pilot helmets, industrial protective helmets, etc. Widely used in various helmet related production, scientific research, quality supervision and testing units.

Main Features of Helmet Impact Absorption Performance tester

1. The impact height can be set by oneself and displayed in real-time. When it reaches the set height, it automatically stops rising.

2. The head shape and helmet are pneumatically controlled for suction and release. Full motorized system.

3. Adopting specialized testing fixtures for easy replacement of full head and half head models, making it easy to conduct full or half helmet testing. Adjustable helmeted head-form mounting to permit tests on different helmet locations.

4. The lifting and releasing parts of the head shape adopt a double guide rail structure to ensure a smooth descent.

5. The speed measurement and action are controlled by mechanical appliances, and data is collected by a computer to display the testing time and curve.

6. The device is equipped with upper and lower limits, and automatically stops when reaching the upper and lower limits.

7. The equipment adopts data acquisition cards imported from the United States and speed measurement systems imported from South Korea.

9. There are slight differences in different standards and helmet configurations, and the specific configurations are subject to actual procurement.

10. Optional remote controller to achieve remote height and speed settings, initiate testing, activate pre programmed settings, and include emergency stop.

11. Linear accelerometer capable of withstanding a maximum acceleration of 1000g without damage

12. Electronic encoder measuring drop height with data acquisition system capable of collecting impact data at a rate of not less than 10 kHz per channel. The measuring system, including the drop assembly, have a frequency response in accordance with channel frequency class (CFC) 1000 of ISO 6487.

13. Velocimeter (Time gate) for speed measurement

14. Quick and easy interchangeable anvils made of steel or another similar rigid metal and shall be firmly attached to the base of the drop assembly. The impact face shall have a minimum diameter of 150 mm (flat anvil) and a radius of 47-49mm (hemispherical anvil)
